Even thought it's been a relatively mild winter here are some tips from MSN on how to make it through the winter funk and the most depressing days of the year.

Watch your diet:  Try to stay away from more carbs which can weigh you down and make you feel lethargic.  Unfortunately for me this means cutting down on two of my all time favorites pasta and bread. Work more organic fruits and vegetables into your diet.

Work Out: Exercise is a great way to beat the winter blues. I know it's tough to get out of bed in the morning especially when its cold out. Even a short brisk walk outside can help.

Bring More Light Into Your Life:    

Turn on a few more lamps or pull up the blinds in your office. Try to get out of the office for a bit if the sun is out. Especially if it's dark when you get to the office and dark when you leave... 

Don't let your moods dictate your plans...  If you're in a funk try to keep your social contacts.. Don't cancel plans with friends or family. Sitting in a dark house and just watching TV can make you feel worse.

Hang in there...  It will be spring before you know it!
