The SpaceX CRS-5 launch date, carrying 18 student experiments including one from Ocean City High School has a new lift-off time once again.  The Mission 6 SpaceX CRS-5 will now take off for the International Space Station this Saturday at 4:45 AM. A tenetative rescheduled date will be Janurary 13th.

The Orbital Sciences’ Cygnus spacecraft will have an experiment on board from 6 students from Ocean City High School. The experiment analyzed the effect of microgravity on the attachment rate of E. coli bacteria to lettuce cells. Students Lauren Bowersock, Mercy Griffith, Kristine Redmond, Daniel Loggi, Kaitland Wriggins and Alison Miles carried out the experiment.
