Stone Harbor Boulevard Closed Due to the Weather

Several utility  poles have broken along Stone Harbor Boulevard due to the gusty winds resulting in wires and poles down across the road.

Stone Harbor Boulevard is closed to traffic at this time for safety concerns.

Rt 30, Shore Road & Ohio Ave closed in Absecon. Black Horse Pike open 1 lane each way in and out of Atlantic City. The Expressway is your best bet to get in and out of AC.

Wind gusts have reached 61 mph in Ocean City; the National Weather Service reports wind gusts of 55 in Somers Point, 47 in Wildwood and 41 in West Cape May.

Power Outages have been reported in Margate, Longport and Ventnor. According to Atlantic City Electric over 22,000 have been affected in Atlantic County and over 7,000 in Cape May County. Call 1-800-833-7476 to report an outage.

According to our Lite Rock Meteorologist Allan Casper we could get anywhere from 1-3 inches of slushy wet snow. Of course heavy rain will also be in the mix. There is a Coastal Flood Warning in effect.
