Congratulations to Mrs. Rachel Bey-Burghart, the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for January.

Mrs. Bey-Burghart, who teaches first grade at South Main Street School in Pleasantville, welcomed me to her class on Wednesday for a Lite Rock Pizza Party to celebrate her selection as the Teacher of the Month.

We had a fun visit with her class, who enjoyed their pizza and recorded a congratulatory message for Mrs. Bey-Burghart which you can hear attached to this post.

Mrs.Bey-Berghart wins a membership to Island Gym and a Lite Rock pizza party for her class from Capri Pizza in Northfield, and a $50 gift card to Hamilton Mall.

For submitting the nomination, Derrick Doughty is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.

Do you know of an excellent South Jersey teacher we should consider as the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month?

Teacher of the Month nominations need only be about 100 words in length and are a great way of recognizing excellence for a teacher who is making a real difference in your child’s life.
