Any Jersey Shore town would be proud to have Zach Cooney on their lifeguard squad. The lifeguard was on duty in Florida on Sunday when he spotted a shark in shallow water off Cocoa Beach.

That's when Zach took the situation in his own hands.  Literally.

Cooney, 22 , quickly cleared a group of children out of the water and then set to work showing the shark who was in charge. He grabbed the shark by the tail and dragged it into deeper water.

Cooney held on tight to the shark's tail end until the creature could be safely escorted back out to sea. No one was hurt and it was just another day on the for Zach Cooney, lifeguard and shark wrestler.
