As much as any other indicator, then reopening of Wawa stores in... Ocean City and Margate shows that life is slowly returning to normal at the Shore four months after Hurricane Sandy.

Wawa stores in many Shore communities were hard-hit by the storm, and Wawa decided to keep them closed while redesigning seven of their stores in Atlantic and Cape May County.

You know what we found out during those storm closings?  We really "gottahava Wawa"!

The Wawa closings have been a major inconvenience to Shore town locals and workers alike!

Well, that all changes today in Ocean City and Margate. The 34th Street Wawa reopened this morning at midnight and the Margate store at 8am.

Wawa promises these Hurricane Sandy-impacted stores have many improvements and upgrades and a special 10-day reopening promotion with free coffee and deals on soft drinks is planned.
