Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.

This week we met Coco the dog.  Here is a paragraph of introduction about Coco from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

Are you a choco-holic, or know somebody who is? Well, I might just be the pup for you! Hi, I'm "Coco"! I am a black and tan, hound mix, boy puppy, of barely seven months of age! I know, itty bitty indeed! Wow-wee am I a cutie pie too! I was brought to the H.S.O.C. by my former owners, when they decided that they did not have enough time to give me all the attention a young dog needs. They were sad to have to do it but, knew it was for the best. They had children and lots of friends, all of which I delighted in playing with whenever I could. My adorable face lights up when anybody comes be to meet me! I pick up new tricks real quick, and am really, really, smart and charming in many, many ways. Judging by my feet, either I got the wrong size "doggie shoes", or I will probably grow up to be a large fella! So what do you think? Are you just the sort of person this little "Coco-puff" needs? Come by real soon and find out! See you then!

If you would like to visit Coco or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-399-2018 or stop in any day between 11a-3p
