Another attempt to steal Super Storm Sandy relief money ended badly for a South Jersey woman who pleaded guilty Wednesday to lying about her primary residence to defraud the Federal Emergency Management Agency out of about $20,000.

Patch.com reports that Andrea Knoerzer, 53, pleaded to disaster benefits fraud in federal court in Camden. Knoerzer, who applied for FEMA benefits in November 2012, claimed her primary residence was in Ocean City, when it was actually in Voorhees, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

She also said the storm had damaged her 2001 Volvo station wagon, even though it was not in Ocean City at the time, according to the Ocean City Patch.

Through the scheme, Knoerzer received $13,373 for emergency rental assistance and $7,500 for transportation assistance.

Knoerzer faces up to 30 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. Sentencing is scheduled for June 23.
