Congratulations to Mrs. Dawn McGhee, the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for October  Mrs. McGhee, a Pre-K teacher at New York Ave. School in Somers Point, was nominated her student Noah Bayconich.

We had a fun time Wednesday bringing a Lite Rock pizza party to her class at New York Ave School, courtesy of Capri Pizza in Northfield  and a fresh fruit flower arrangement from B.F. Mazzeo in Northfield.  Watch video of the students dancing in celebration.

For submitting the nomination, Noah Bayconich is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.

Do you know of an excellent South Jersey teacher we should consider as the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month? We are looking for one more Lite Rock teacher of the Month for this school year.

Teacher of the Month nominations need only be about 100 words in length and are a great way of recognizing excellence for a teacher who is making a real difference in your child’s life.

Here are highlights of an impromptu dance party that broke out during from my visit to Mrs. McGhee's class at New York Ave. School in Somers Point...
