Ok, I've got to admit I'm not a big fan of bees.. I usually run the other way as soon as I see one or hear that all familiar buzz.. There's a new exhibit open now at the Cape May County Zoo where you can get really get up close to a display of bees.   The observation bee hive is the newest exhibit at the county zoo, which officially opened this past Friday at the zoo’s aviary.

You can get up close to the queen bee who's surrounded by over 15,000 bees... Special thanks to the New Jersey Bee Keepers Association who donated the hive.

Of course the Cape May County Zoo is located on Rt. 9 and is open, weather permitting, 364 days a year, except Christmas. The zoo is open from 10 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
