Power is still out for nearly all 3.4 million people in Puerto Rico and Hurricane Maria has destroyed the electric grid and wiped out many homes, businesses, roads and farms. Lite Rock is asking for your help with this grave situation by showing that South Jersey Cares.

As millions of Americans in Puerto Rico continue to struggle to find the basic necessities for their families after Maria ravaged the island, Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG has teamed with the Puerto Rican Civic Association of Hammonton to collect much-needed relief supplies for hurricane victims.

Here is a list of some of the items most-needed now in Puerto Rico:

- bottled water or powdered milk

- new or gently used summer clothing

- batteries

- toiletries or hygiene products

These items may be dropped off at the Lite Rock studios at 950 Tilton Road, Northfield Mon-Fri. between 9a-5p, or at the Puerto Rican Civic Association of Hammonton, 367 Old Forks Road, Hammonton, daily.

Arrangement shave been made by the Puerto Rican Civic Association of Hammonton to have these items packed and shipped to those in need in Puerto Rico.
