When it comes to visiting Atlantic City, there was a time when glitz and glamor was way more important that comfort and amenities. That time... was the 1980s.

Atlantic City has seen a ton of changes since the first casino opened back in 1978. A large chunk of those changes came because of one person -- Donald Trump. The 80s were Trump's heyday in A.C. And it was Trump's Castle that many thought would make Atlantic City the east coast's premier tourist destination.
