Expect Delays and Detours in Egg Harbor Township

Construction work is set to begin at the intersection of Fire and Mill Roads in EHT.

Crews are ready to start multimillion-dollar projects including replacing two bridges and the intersection of Fire and Mill road.

According to Atlantic County officials road crews will start work on replacing Mill Road’s Maple Run Bridge at the township’s border with Northfield. Work will start on this project today. Detours will be in effect starting at 7 AM and will last for the next three months.

Work is also scheduled to begin replacing Zion Road’s Cedar Bridge where Northfield and Linwood intersect.

The intersection of Fire and Mill will also be going under construction with a $3.9 million road-widening project. Construction will take place for the next 18-19 montha and wrap up by the fall of 2015.
