Join Lite Rock 96.9 on Sunday, September 7th at the first obstacle course beach run in Margate’s history – the Margate Dune Dash! It is a 1 mile run along the beach filled with challenging obstacles. The course will begin and end on Huntington Avenue. Each participant will face 10 challenging obstacles. Registration is $10 per person for individuals and teams (limit six per team), and $40 for families. Registration will be held at the Bloom Pavilion starting at 8 a.m. on the day of the race, or register you can register in advance at the Margate Recreation Department at the William H. Ross School, 101 N. Haverford Ave.
The proceeds from the Dune Dash will benefit the Margate Education Foundation (MEF). The MEF is an independent community-based non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the quality of education in and providing positive support for the Margate Public School System.
