On Saturday December 7th the letter carrier's rural and city along with many other postal employees and volunteers from the Post Offices throughout Cape May County will be helping out in the Annual Postal Food Drive. Cape May, Cape May Court House, Villas, Rio Grande, Wildwood, Stone Harbor, Avalon, Sea Isle City, Ocean View, Ocean City, and Marmora will be collecting non-perishable foods to help fill out local food banks. The food banks are especially low this time of year, anything helps!
Here is how you can help: Please leave any non-perishable foods by your mail box and your mail carrier will pick it up. Or you can drop off any food at your local Post Office. All the food collected stays in our local food banks.
Item suggestions: Breakfast Cereals, PB&J, Tuna Fish, Mayonnaise, Dry Pasta, Rice, Instant Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, Spaghetti Sauce, Ravioli and Pastas, Beef-a-Roni, Apple Sauce, Canned Goods, Baby Food/Formula.
