Be A Hero Golf Tournament

The 12th Annual Ensign John R. Elliott “Be a Hero” Golf Tournament, hosted by MediLink Homecare, Inc and Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG, will be held Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 at the Sand Barrens Golf Club in Swainton, NJ. Funds raised from the event will benefit the “Hero Campaign for Designated Drivers®,” a program of the John R. Elliott Foundation.
In its first eleven years, the tournament has raised over a half of a million dollars to promote the importance of sober designated drivers. Our community continues to enthusiastically support this wonderful event. We expect this year’s outing to be even better!
In addition to a great day of golf, lunch and dinner, every golfer will receive a HERO black overnight bag. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winning foursomes and to the “High Achievers” (the losing foursome due to the highest score). There are cars as prizes for a hole-in-one on select holes and miscellaneous prizes for closest to pin, longest drive, etc.

11:30 & After Golf: Tin Cup Challenge
How hard can it be to drive a ball, have it land and stay in a metal-bottomed boat in the middle of the lake? Take the challenge. Winner gets great bragging rights and a “unique” winners cup to hold until the next year.
