A Philadelphia couple were arrested in North Wildwood on July 4th for allegedly stealing from bags on the beach, all while in the company of their three young children.

Here's the North Wildwood Police Department report on Saturday's arrests.

"On Saturday, July 4, 2015 at approximately 2:12 pm, Officers Jacob Chadwick and Eric Evans responded to 17th & Beach for reports of a male and a female stealing items from bags on the beach.

As the officers arrived, they were contacted by the North Wildwood Beach Patrol who stated lifeguards were with the accused female at 18th & Beach with her children. The accused, Kelly Costanzo, was arrested by Officer Chadwick and her three children, ages 12, 9 and 6, were transported to Police Headquarters.

The male accused, Costanzo's husband, Larry Hall, fled the area before police arrived. Further investigation revealed that Hall was in possession of $500 in cash and a cell phone that was stolen from the beach. Hall was located at Lincoln & Ocean Avenues in Wildwood by Officer Mark Santiago and arrested.

Hall (39) and Costanzo (36), both residing in Philadelphia, PA, were arrested and charged with child endangerment and theft. Bail was set by Judge Louis J. Belasco, Jr., PJMC, in the amount of $35,000/10% on Hall and $25,000/10% on Costanzo for these charges. Both were lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Facility unable to post bail. The children were placed in the custody of a relative by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families."
