Congratulations to Cheryl Knabe, the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for April.
Ms.Knabe is a kindergarten teacher and a tutor at Arthur Rann School in Galloway..
She was nominated by the mom of by her student, Jacob Terrones, for going to their home 2-3 days a week to tutor Jacob when he has chemotherapy treatments for an inoperable brain tumor.
Ms.Knabe wins a membership to Island Gym and a Lite Rock pizza party for her class from Capri Pizza in Northfield, and a $50 gift card to Hamilton Mall.
For submitting the nomination, Jacob Terrones is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.
