Atlantic City Rodeo Returns To Boardwalk Hall
Today at 11am, The Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) wrangled up a crowd at Boardwalk Hall to announce its third-annual Atlantic City Rodeo on October 5 and 6. The PRCA greeted the media and locals with cowboys, horses and a stagecoach carrying our very own Miss New Jersey, Lindsey Petrosh & Mayor Langford.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 24 at noon and are priced at $20, $30, $50, and $80. Fans who purchase their tickets from Friday, May 24 to Friday, May 31 will receive a free cowboy hat with each ticket. Family four -packs including 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 soft drinks are also available and must be purchased prior to Friday, October 4. Children 2-12, seniors 65+, and military members will receive a $5 off a ticket. Groups of 10 or more are also eligible to receive a $5 discount on $30 and $50 seats. Two complimentary tickets will also be given to groups of 40 or more. The PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association) sanctioned event, presented by Barnes PRCA Rodeo Company, will bring the biggest rodeo on the East Coast to Atlantic City. A lucrative sum of prize money will be up for grabs. These cowboys and cowgirls will make their way through seven challenging PRCA show events:
Bareback Riding, Tie-Down roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, and Bull Riding.
PRCA President John Barnes assured the crowd a fun, one-of-a-kind show with specialty acts, including hands-free voice commands by cowboy Jerry Olson. Barnes says, “We haven’t done the same thing yet, and we’re not going to.”
