Zumaya, a 4-Year Old Love Bug – Pet of the Week
Every Thursday morning at 7:10 am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.
If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.
This week we met Zumaya the dog.
Here's some information on Zumaya ( Zoo--my-a) from the Humane Society of Ocean City...
"Zumaya is a 4-year-old schnauzer mix who came to The Humane Society of Ocean City in hopes of finding a loving home.
At the first meeting, she is timid and shy, but don't let that fool you. She warms up quickly with a fun walk or a romp around the yard. Zumaya is the definition of a snuggle bug and would be a great addition to most households.
She is a super sweet girl who will steal your heart with one look into those pouty eyes. We can't guarantee but are pretty sure having this little ball of love(and fur) laying around your house would be good for your body and soul."
If you would like to visit Zumaya or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 to make an appointment.
To adopt from the HSOC, you will need one form of identification, which includes your name, permanent address, and proof of ownership (i.e., local tax stub). If you rent, written approval from your landlord is required as well as personal identification.
