Woman Stabs Her Husband, Herself in Golden Nugget Room

Police in Atlantic City are investigating a case of attempted murder in a hotel room at Golden Nugget Wednesday. A woman was arrested after stabbing her husband and then herself.

Wednesday at 9:38 am,  officers responded to the Golden Nugget Atlantic City in reference to a man and woman that were found stabbed in a hotel room. Security initially responded to the room after receiving a call reporting an argument.

An investigation conducted by detectives of the Street Crimes Unit determined that the wife, Majocyline Tan,64, of Edison had stabbed her husband, 72, multiple times and then stabbed herself. Both were transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with serious injuries, however, they are expected to survive.

Majocyline Tan has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
