Will The Atlantic Club Casino Be Part of Stockton’s Future?

The former Atlantic Club Casino and Hotel, which has been shuttered since 2014, could resurface with new owners.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that a possible deal with Stockton University may be coming. According to the report, The Board of Trustees of Stockton will meet privately Wednesday (8/8) to discus any deal or purchase of the closed Atlantic Club.

The former site of the Atlantic Club is just a couple of blocks from the campus Stockton will open in Atlantic City later this month. The ribbon cutting ceremony for the $220 million dollar campus is scheduled for September 20th.
