Tuesday's epic thunderstorms caused major damage to homes, trees and cars in parts of South Jersey.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, a storm survey team form the National Weather Service has been sent to multiple locations in northwestern Gloucester County  to analyze the damage from the storms and to determine the type of storm that affected the area.  .

Cell phone service has been restored in South Jersey, after the storm knocked out Verizon cell phone service for a good part of the day in three startes.

Atlantic City Electric is still reporting outages in Atlantic, Cape May, Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties.  Atlantic City Electric – outage map | Facebook | Twitter | 800-833-7476.  Power outage numbers rival those of Super Storm Sandy.

The storm also has created havoc on South Jersey graduations. Vineland and Southern Regional held their commencement ceremonies on Wednesday.
