When I was a youngster my favorite place to go trick or treating was the Washington Street Mall in Cape May. As a kid, I thought the most important thing to do when trick or treating was to collect as much candy as humanly possible, or as much as my parents would allow.

The stores in Cape May come prepared to the event, buying their candy in bulk prior to the spooky activities. During the Trick-or Treating on the mall, there are lots of store employees and spectators to dazzle with your kids Halloween costume.

If you weren’t sold already, this event is during the day. THE DAY… WHEN IT’S WARM. Warmer than an average October night that is. Your kids won’t be completely freezing in their oh so practical Halloween costumes.

According to the Washington Street Mall's Facebook page, the event is happening on Sunday, October 23rd from 12 Noon - 2 PM!

If you live in Cape May County and you haven’t stopped by Trick-or-Treating on the Washington Street Mall, you should consider grabbing your youngsters and making a day out of the Halloween festivities. Take advantage of the spooky scenery in Cape May while having fun with your kids making ghostly memories!
