The sunny, warm weather expected for this first real weekend of summer will undoubtedly lead to crowded beaches in South Jersey, but the loudest action this weekend will take place off the coast.

The Atlantic City Offshore Grad Prix, featuring more than forty 50-foot powerboats racing at speeds in excess of 100 mph, returns to Atlantic City for the first time since 1989.

Racing begin Friday and run through Sunday afternoon's Grand Prix main event. The races begin and end at the Farley State Marina at the Golden Nugget and should be visible from anywhere on the Atlantic City Beach and Boardwalk. See the race schedule and more information.
