Weekend Happenings: Music, Fireworks, Fun, Grads & Dads

While most of our attention has been focused on Saturday's really cool, free concert welcoming the new 40,000 square-foot restaurant and entertainment Margaritaville complex to Resorts Casino, it 's only one of the many fun options happening this Father's Day weekend in South Jersey!

By the way, come on out and join Lite Rock, Saturday beginning at 1pm, on the "Landshark Beach" at Resorts for a free concert featuring Andy Grammer, Mac McAnally and Wilson Phillips with the now confirmed special guest, Jimmy Buffett!

Buffett's inclusion in this concert is really a natural, seeing as it's in celebration of his Margaritaville Restaurant and Landshark Bar and Grill, now open at Resorts. Buffett's appearance will happen during Mac McAnally's show, scheduled for 4pm. McAnally is a long-time member of Buffett's Coral Reefer Band.

Friday is Graduation Day for students at Absegami, Oakcrest, and Southern Regional High Schools. Saturday, Cedar Creek High School celebrates their first ever graduating class. Congratulations to all!
