Your Neighborhood Wawa Could be Changing

For most people in and around the Delaware Valley, Wawa is a way of life. However, the Pennsylvania-based company is about to throw out a game-changer.

Later this year, the company plans to open its first store with interior bar stools and a counter for in-store dining. It'll be in Center City Philadelphia. In an interview with Philly.com, Wawa spokeswoman Lori Bruce said:

Our business model is really about serving people who are on the go. This extends that. This gives people another option, to take a moment, be able to quickly consume something.

Wawa will consider expanding the concept based on customer votes and store results.
