Congratulations to Mrs.Amy Anderson, the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for March.

Mrs. Anderson, who teaches American Sign Language at Ocean City High School, welcomed me to her class on Friday for a Lite Rock Pizza Party to celebrate her selection as the Teacher of the Month.

We had a fun visit with her class, who enjoyed their pizza and shot a video showing them signing, which you can see attached to this post.

Amy wins a membership to Island Gym and a Lite Rock pizza party for her class from Capri Pizza in Northfield, and a $50 gift card to Hamilton Mall.

For submitting the nomination, Jenna Olver is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.

Get your school involved in the Hamilton Mall’s School Spirit Challenge.

Now through April 30, 2017. Shoppers can earn points for their favorite school when they present a Hamilton Mall receipt to the Information Desk.  The school that earns the most points by April 30 will receive $5,000 from Hamilton Mall, and the first and second runners-up will receive $2,500 and $1,000, respectively.

After you have completed your shopping trip, simply take your receipts to our customer service desk to submit your receipt and earn points for your school!

If you would like your school to participate in the School Spirit Challenge, please have your school principal call (609) 703-5085.

Do you know of an excellent South Jersey teacher we should consider as the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month?

Teacher of the Month nominations need only be about 100 words in length and are a great way of recognizing excellence for a teacher who is making a real difference in your child’s life.

See a video highlight from my visit to Mrs.Anderson's American Sign Language class at Ocean City High School, with the class signing along to a song from the group Walk the Moon.  Cool Stuff!
