In a candid 6-minute interview, Allen, a South Jersey native, discussed a possible timetable for reopening Hard Rock's properties worldwide and his concern that the Atlantic City market could miss out on the profitable summer season.

Allen also detailed a plan to ease the fears of Hard Rock employees, making them "feel safe" by extending benefits and giving them certificates for groceries.

The Hard Rock chairman said the casino's live events business would take the longest to recover and could be "on hold for quite some time".
