Cops in Vineland say a man was shot "multiple times" in the parking lot of Cumberland Mall Thursday night.

According to the Vineland Police Department, their officers responded to the shopping center on Delsea Drive just before 10PM Thursday after receiving reports of a shooting.

They say an investigation revealed that a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times in the parking lot.

Officials believe that the victim and the suspect knew each other and this is not a random act of violence. They stress this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
