With classes back in session, it's no shock to see school buses back on the roads.

What IS a shock is seeing a local school bus involved in a fit of road rage with a tractor-trailer.

Stephen O'Connor shared the shocking video on Facebook on Wednesday afternoon around 3 p.m. It has since been shared more than 3,000 times.

He captioned the video with, "So here we have school bus driver upset at FedEx driver for doing 20mph along Airport Road here in Lakewood today."

It shows a school bus on Airport Road in Lakewood traveling behind a FedEx tractor-trailer, when suddenly the bus attempts to pass the truck...(in the middle of an intersection...on a one lane road, mind you)...and to make matters worse, the truck then veers left to try to block the bus from passing, and they BOTH swerve into the oncoming traffic lane.

Luckily for all involved there were no vehicles traveling towards them.

I can only hope there were no kids on the bus, which was shown as bus 256 from Jay's Bus Service based in Lakewood.

Even before this incident, reviews on their Facebook page have been unfavorable at best.

Our Townsquare Media news department did some digging, and was told by the bus company that the driver seen on this video has been fired. FedEx says they are investigating the incident.

The whole incident is truly horrifying.
