Town 16 Theatre May Have Closed — But Not For Good

Just the other day, Eddie Davis broke the sad news that The Frank Theatres Towne Stadium 16 closed their doors -- but the good news is that it is not for good.

CEO of the company, Bruce Frank just revealed that a new movie house will be opening at the same location by the end of this year but just under a different name.

“The theatre has been closed ‘temporarily’ for us to make way for a ‘CineGrille & Bowl,’” said Frank.

The new and improved movie theater is going to have 10 screens with large screen format, all dine-in recliners, a full-service café, full bar, 14 lanes and an arcade with 40 games.

In the meantime, the two movie theaters in Atlantic County that are open are the Regal Hamilton Commons 14 in Mays Landing and the single-screen IMAX Theatre at the Tropicana in Atlantic City.

But hopefully you won't have to wait for too long.
