This also means more packages will be delivered to homes this holiday season. According to NBC News Dallas, here are some tips on how to keep your gifts safe from would-be thieves this Christmas.
1. Have your gifts delivered to your workplace.
2. Track your package online to see when it will be delivered. Have a neighbor pick up your gifts if you can't.
3. Companies like UPS suggest to have your gifts shipped directly to their store. They will hold your packages for a period of time until pick-up.
