Three people were seriously injured in a boating accident in Cape May on Tuesday night, according to 6ABC.

The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. when a 26-foot recreational boat  apparently crashed into a jetty near the Cape May Inlet located adjacent to the Coast Guard station.
Action News reports that New Jersey State Police said three people were rushed to area hospitals. Two of the victims were taken to Cape Regional Medical Center and a third person was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Atlantic City campus.

There was no immediate word on the conditions of the victims.
