It seems like only yesterday that I was stressing over my own SAT's. Both of my sons took the test multiple times and each time I remember them anxiously awaiting the results. Once was enough for me, since I was never good at taking tests to begin with.

According to NJ.com, New Jersey high schools came in with an average score of 1,075 out of a high score of 1,600.

The list is also broken down by the top 3 high schools with the highest SAT scores in every county in the Garden State.

The top 3 high schools with the best scores for Atlantic County were Mainland Regional High School, Hammonton High School and Egg Harbor Township High School!

The top 3 in Cape May County were Ocean City High School, Middle Township High School and Cape May Technical High School!

Both my boys scored significantly higher them me on their SAT's. My youngest son Josh, who's now at Rowan University studying to become a history teacher, scored really well on his test. I remember the number of schools trying to contact him almost tripled after his highest test score came out.

Good Luck to all the students taking the SAT test this month!
