The Tropicana in Atlantic City Gets a $25M Facelift

The Tropicana Resort and Casino will  undergo a $25 million renovation right after the Labor Day weekend.

The Trop will upgrade its hotel rooms, casino floor and restaurants including a new gourmet Italian restaurant and and a  trattoria. .  I just had dinner the other night  at Carmine's which is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in AC.

Construction will start after Labor Day weekend and should be finished by the end of 2012.
