2016 was a banner year for concerts and tours for many acts including Adele, Beyonce, and New Jersey's own Bruce Springsteen!

According to Pollstar.com, 2016 was a very good year for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's 35th Anniversary River Tour, which was the top grossing tour of the year, pulling in $263.3 million dollars.

Beyonce was next on the list with $256 million, followed by Coldplay at $241 million, and Guns and Roses $188 million. Adele rounds out the top 5 2016 tours at $167 million! Chump change, right?

Bruce Springsteen - Citizens Bank Park

"The Boss" played two big shows at Citizens Bank and I was fortunate to enough to catch the second one. Almost 4 hours listening to the best of Bruce on a hot, sticky summer night in Philly. Man, I'll never forget it!

    Beyonce - Lincoln Financial Field

Beyonce's Formation Tour came to the Linc last fall. Check out the show opener which Beyonce performed in the pouring rain. Welcome to Philly, Queen Bee!

    Coldplay - Lincoln Financial Field

Here's Coldplay covering Springsteen's Streets of Philadelphia. Another great concert at the Linc!

Guns and Roses - Lincoln Financial Field

The Not In This Lifetime Tour also made a stop in Philly. Here's the classic, Sweet Child O' Mine, live from the Linc.

    Adele - Wells Fargo Center

Adele played in Philly the same exact night that Bruce played at Citizens Bank Park. It was funny seeing people leave the Adele show while Bruce was still on stage. "The Boss" played for another hour or so after the Adele show was over.
