    WATER AEROBICS

    JCC - Margate

Think of working out, except with water aerobics you are working out in a pool. Your body is tested by the resistance of water when doing standard forms of exercise. You can lift weights, kick, or even swim around to workout your entire body. Your muscles will most definitely be sore after doing this for the first time.

    KAYAKING

Paddle Shack - Egg Harbor Township

You can find yourself going on some really interesting journeys while kayaking. It’s fun, fast-paced, and great for working out your upper body. Also, get ready to see some gorgeous scenery along the way on your adventure.

Try Harbor Outfitters, located in Sea Isle City, Stone Harbor, and Ocean City, or the Paddle Shack on Patcong Creek in Egg Harbor Township.

    WINDSURFING

Extreme Windsurfing - West Atlantic City

It’s surfing combined with sailing and a little technique. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll have a blast on the open water. There is a learning curve, but it is a great workout and a wonderful way to enjoy the water. You can try it at Extreme Windsurfing in West Atlantic City or Kennedy Park in Somers Point.

    PADDLE BOARDING

Stand-Up Paddle Board - Cape May

This is for those who like a laid back atmosphere. However, don't be fooled by the slower pace. Stand up paddleboarding does a lot more for your body than you might think. Maintaining balance for a long time does wonders for your body. Working out doesn’t always have to be super fast. Paddle boarding is an example of that. Look out for Baycats in Ocean City or Stand-Up Paddle Board in Cape May.
