Look for us on the boardwalk this Wednesday for the 11th annual Atlantic City Airshow. Last years's show drew a record of 908,000 spectators. This year's show will undergo some changes from previous shows. The show is now set for the end of June instead of the end of August. The air show now returns to mid-week instead of Friday. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will not be performing or the first time in a decade and budget cuts will ground nonessential military flying for the first time in a decade.

With all these changes officials still expect huge crowds on the boards in Atlantic City. Showtime is set for this Wednesday at noon.

Of course parking may be a challenge.. Here's the best places to park for the air show:

Atlantic City Expressway, Welcome Center parking lot:  Jitneys will provide transportation to the airshow to Indiana Avenue and the Boardwalk between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. $20 per vehicle.

Bader Field: Located on Albany Avenue. Jitneys will provide transportation to Albany Avenue and the Boardwalk between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. $20 per vehicle.

The Wave parking garage on Fairmount Avenue and other open-air lots throughout the city will be open.

Bring plenty of sunscreen, your sunglasses, light clothing, snacks, bottled water, binoculars and earplugs especially for the kids and enjoy the 11th annual Atlantic City Airshow!
