Mornings can may be rough, especially if you're not a morning person. Here are a few things to avoid if you need help getting your morning routine started.

Having The Wrong Breakfast.  You shouldn't start your day with a breakfast that's loaded with carbs. A bagel loaded with cream cheese may not be the ideal choice for breakfast. An omelet made with two whole eggs and two egg whites will give you plenty of protein.

Do Not Brush Your Teeth Right After Eating.  According to experts, it's best to brush before you eat. By brushing after, you could push sugars right into the enamel of your teeth.

Take a Steamy Shower. Warm water could give your body a signal to relax and it could make you sluggish. Opt for a cold shower to help you feel energized and more awake.

Do Not Check Your Email First Thing in the Morning. You can get an overwhelming feeling by checking a flood of emails, especially if you're not fully awake. It can also cause you to enter into a panic mode.

Making An Excuse To Skip The Gym. Missing that morning workout could make you feel even more sluggish after a long stressful day.
