This weekend is the much-anticipated 26th anniversary of the Sea Isle Polar Plunge and there is quite the celebration in store.

So here is a guide so you have all the information you need to know!

Registration

You can register as late as Saturday, February 15th! Registration hours are on Friday, February 14th at La Costa's Tent from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th at JFK Blvd & the Beach Tent from 7:00 AM to 11:45 AM.

Fundraising Efforts

All of the funds raised over the Polar Bear Plunge weekend go towards supporting special service schools, autism support groups and families of special needs children.

Surrounding Businesses

A lot of businesses close up shop during the winter in Sea Isle. But this Annual Polar Bear Plunge weekend brings the town back to life with various restaurants and businesses opening for this momentous occasion. Some of the businesses that have committed to being open are The Ocean Drive, Shenanigans, Dead Dog Saloon, O'Donnell's Pour House, Oar House Pub, Sands Department Store and Kix McNutley'

Friday, February 14th - The Reunion

La Costa Lounge will host the Polar Bear King & King Reunion from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on their deck bar! Previous kings and queens will be honored for their fundraising efforts with a party with live music from The Insiders!

Saturday, February 15th - Costume Contest

1. La Costa is hosting the annual Costume Contest under their big tent. There are some killer group costumes seen at this event so bring your A Game. There are three categories contestants can win in: costumes with 1-4 people, costumes with 5-9 people and costumes with 10 or more people.  (Groups register between 9:00 and 9:45 AM)

Saturday, February 15th

There is a full schedule set for the actual day of the plunge and registration kicks off bright and early -- at 7:00 AM -- at the JFK Blvd. Tent. Also be sure to check out all of the vendors set up for the day!

• 12:00 - 12:15 PM: the Polar Bear Plunge which will take place between 38th and 40th Street

• 2:30 PM: Costume Contest Awards at LaCosta Tent.

Sunday, February 17th

This day is dedicated to Mike's 12th Annual Seafood Autism Walk/Run. On-site registration is from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at LaCosta Tent and the walk itself kicks off at 12:00 PM at JFK & Promenade. There will be an Post Run/Walk After Party at LaCosta Tent with an awards ceremony and breakfast buffet.

Following the race is the Fourth Annual Polar Bear Cornhole Tournament which begins at 2:00 PM. Teams will compete for the three top prizes: $150, $250 and $500. Registration costs $60 per team and will benefit autism and special needs charities.
