The 2016 Miss America Prelims Are on [VIDEO]

The 52 Miss America contestants made their debut on Boardwalk Hall's stage last night. And the big winners from last night's competition were...

Miss Iowa and Miss South Carolina. The talent category was won by Miss Iowa Taylor Wiebers who sang a version of  "Don’t Forget Me” from the TV Series "Smash." Miss South Carolina Daja Dial took the top spot in swim wear.

The Miss America Preliminary Competition is hosted by former Miss New Jersey 1995 Dena Blizzard. The second and third nights of the Miss America Prelims will start at 7 PM live at Boardwalk Hall.

The Show us Your Shoes Parade is scheduled for this Saturday starting at 5 PM from Trump Taj Mahal. Lite Rock's Eddie Davis will co host the parade coverage which can be heard on WPG Talk Radio 1450 AM.
