Teacher of the Month: Cindy Baghat From Shaner School, Mays Landing [AUDIO]

Congratulations to April’s Lite Rock Teacher of the Month, Cindy Baghat from the Joseph C. Shaner School in Mays Landing.

Mrs.Baghat is a first-grade teacher at the Shaner School. She was nominated by her student Aislynn Erickson.

Cindy Baghat has been teaching first grade at the Shaner School for 27 years.

If you listen to my conversation with Cindy (which is attached below), you’ll hear that not only has Mrs. Baghat taught mufti-generations of families attending Shaner, she also taught some of today's Shaner faculty when they were in the first grade!

Cindy Baghat wins a membership to Island Gym and a Lite Rock pizza party for her class courtesy of Carluccio’s Coal Fired Pizza in Northfield. For submitting the nomination, Aislynn Erickson is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.
