Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.[

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.

This week we met Sweet Pea and Jelly Bean the cats...

Here is some information on Sweet Pea and Jelly Bean from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

“Sweet Pea and Jelly Bean are 6-year-old half-sisters Himalayans and have been together since they were kittens.Owner moved away and could not take with them.

They are social but shy and would make great companions for someone especially who understands the breed. They do require daily brushing because of their long hair.

Through May 31,  we are running a cat adoption special. All cats adoption fees have been dropped to $35 and if you adopt two cats you receive and additional $10 off.

Come be a part of our BIG 55th year celebration of servicing our local community by adopting one....or two of our fantastic felines"
