Sunday’s ‘Barks On The Boards’, a Dog Day Afternoon on Ocean City Boardwalk

Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend will truly be a dog day afternoon.  For one of the only two times in the year it's allowed, the Boardwalk...

will be dog-friendly this Sunday, and for a good cause.

The Humane Society of Ocean City presents the annual "Barks on the Boards" Sunday at noon, with registration starting at 10:30pm and canine contests at 1pm.

Bring the pooch and make a day of it.  Lite Rock will be there and I'll be hosting with my dog Sheba.

The canine contests are always fun to watch and exciting for your dog to compete in, but please, no wagering. This year's games include largest and smallest dog, best dressed, most precious pup and, my favorite, dog who looks most like owner.

Registration is $20 with all donations accepted to help the Humane Society of Ocean City continue their good work.
