Stockton University Says Mask Up for Fall

Stockton University announced Wednesday they are mandating the wearing of masks indoors and in common areas on all campuses to begin their fall 2021 semester.

Who Has to Wear Masks?

Beginning Monday, August 16, all students, employees, guest visitors, vendors, affiliates, etc., unless you have been granted a medical accommodation.

What if I Am Vaccinated?

This mandate is in effect regardless of vaccination status.

Where Must Masks Be Worn?

Wearing a mask will be required indoor public and common areas, such as hallways, public restrooms, lounges, laundry facilities, the library, computer labs, University shuttles, and dining areas. Masks can be removed when eating.

Will Masks Be required in Classrooms?

Beginning Tuesday, September 7, all students and faculty participating in face-to-face classroom activities will be required to wear a mask during the entire period of the instructional session, unless granted a medical accommodation. This requirement applies to all courses with an in-person component, no matter how brief, including traditional and hybrid classes, labs, seminars, and studios.

How long Will the Mask Mandate Last?

Stockton says this requirement will remain in effect until such time as public health and safety conditions permit the University to consider an adjustment. The COVID-19 pandemic remains a fluid situation. Stockton will continue to modify its health and safety protocols to adapt to changes, as necessary.
