So, if you're a local healthcare or front line worker, get to your nearest Starbucks location as many times as you can this month. The coffee giant will honor you with a free tall-sized brewed coffee, and you can get it hot or iced.

In a statement, vice president of Starbucks’ Global Social Impact initiative Virginia Tenpenny said, “It has been an extraordinarily difficult year, especially for the front-line responders who are serving our communities. We want to show our deep gratitude for those who support and protect us every day with a small gesture of kindness and a warm cup of coffee.”

Today is Giving Tuesday. So, if you know a healthcare or front line worker, pass this bit of info along to them!

Our healthcare workers are once again being worked to the max as coronavirus cases in the Garden State and around the country continue to spike. They're again pulling excruciatingly long shifts under dire circumstances, and spending more time away from their families during this holiday season. Not to mention risking their lives.

As of Monday, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said another 15 Garden State residents passed away from COVID-19.

Sadly, we must report 15 additional #COVID19 deaths, bringing our statewide total to 15,164.

The number of probable deaths is 1,829.

New restrictions have also been put in place that reduce the number permitted at outdoor gatherings to 25 starting next Monday, and put most indoor sports on hiatus until at least January 2nd.
