The fall season is here. There's now a chill in the air, the sun is setting sooner, acorns are staring to drop and pumpkin spice coffee is everywhere.

The changing of the leaves and the official start to the Fall Foliage have already started. I've noticed that the leaves are starting to change in color on my daily commute on the Garden State Parkway.

According to NJ Hiking the peak time for fall foliage in the Garden State begins starting next week on October 19th and runs through October 29th.

According to the Farmer's Almanac, the fall colors are at it's peak in New England on Columbus Day weekend before heading south, which usually means we get to see the vibrant colors of fall at its peak mid to late October through early November here in the Garden State.

I am so looking forward to getting out of the house to drive through the brilliant colors of the fall season here in New Jersey.

My least favorite part of the fall season is picking up the darn leaves after they fall all over the place including the gutters. I always wait until the last minute to rake them or when it's pouring rain to remove them from the gutters. I know I'm in trouble when my wife starts to rake without me. I know I better get my butt out there and help her or else!
