South Jersey Shore Town To Allow Parking On The Beach
Starting Memorial Day it will be a little bit easier to park and walk to the beach without having to trek to the ocean in the heat.
Shore town Wildwood has plans to open a beach parking lot in the coming weeks for all to use. The planned parking lot will be located on Baker Avenue right next to the convention center.
Of course nothing is free in life and they will be a price a pay to park so close to the beach.
Parking passes will be $10 for any day of the week and $20 for special events like concerts, parties, and so on. Officials will be setting up a ticket booth on the beach soon.
As for a timetable of when this starts, officials say beach parking will run on weekends starting Memorial Day Weekend then will commit full-time to being open seven days starting the third week in June.
