South Jersey School District Goes Remote, Staff COVID-19 Positive

Another week of school, another district ditching the hybrid system.

Three staff members from the Washington Township (Gloucester County) school district have reportedly been diagnosed with COVID-19. As a result, the district has decided to revert back to virtual learning for the foreseeable future. The only school within the district to have a definitive return-to-school date is the grade school.

It's unclear whether or not the staff members that tested positive were teachers or not, but according to NJ.com, the superintendent decided to shut down everything anyway. As it appears thus far, the high school students will not return to in-person classes the same time as the children attending Hurffville Elementary.
